VEJA
With a huge focus on sustainability and fair trade, VEJA uses Brazilian and Pruvian organic cotton for the canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for the soles, and various innovative materials conceived in recycled plastic bottles or recycled polyester.
Created in 2005, The VEJA project has been mixing social projects, economic justice and ecological materials. VEJA chose sneakers to promote their cause because it symbolizes their generation and era. Through its production, dissemination and usage, sneakers are also a product that crystallizes the major issues of globalisation.
